Bluetooth watch from Fossil

Basically it's a watch that acts as a Bluetooth device for your cell phone. When you get a call, it vibrates and displays the Caller ID info on the watch. It's actually a pretty neat concept, except that I like digital watches and the price is too high. If they could add a speakerphone and drop the price down to $79, I'd be all over it like white on rice :p

Yup, but if you're driving and your cell phone is in your pocket, that watch could be handy. Or if you're in school and have the phone on silent. Or whatever. If they could get the price down I can see it being really handy.

Dammit, man, you're on a geek forum! The above product is indeed neat!

It is expensive, though.

You'd pay $79 to not have to reach into your pocket?

My dad just puts his cellphone up against his crotch while he drives.:Q

for 80 bucks on a watch... you've got to be kidding to be paying for that kind of functionality.

it's like paying an extra 300 dollars for a pocket on your living room sofa?

stick with one device used for making phone calls.

people walk around with wireless head sets.

you, buddy, are going to be walking around looking like James Bond, Mission Impossible-wanna be, super action man. and if you're okay with that, by all means, get the watch for the best of convenience it can provide for you.

pay attention to:

battery life
durability
quality of service
available sizes
model upgrades
warranty
wireless reception and possible distortion
encryption technology

p.s. ask yourself if it's a waste of money, cell phones are already as expensive these days, not 80 bucks really, but you know, the extra money on a better cell phone is the direction I would go. otherwise, there goes 80 whopper jr's...

Yeah! Then you could talk into your watch like a superhero or like you're from the future or something! :D
