Would you buy this house?

A few years ago a double homicide occured in a house several miles from where I live. A jealous boyfriend murdered his ex-girlfriend and her mother. If my memory serves me correctly, it was a double stabbing and the scece was quite gruesome.

Anyways, the house remained vacant for about a year until it was demolished and another house was built on the same site. The new house is beautiful, but it has yet to be sold after many months on the market. Even though it's not the same house in which the murders occured, and even though I don't really believe in hauntings, I don't think I would buy it. Would you consider buying it if you liked it?

Sure. As long as they moved the bodies as well. When they only move the headstones weird stuff starts happening with the TV.

I've posted the story before, but I've lived in a house where a murder had occurred. Didn't bother me a bit.

I'd buy it. I for one would be stoked to find out there is such thing as the paranormal. Even if it was trying to fuck with me.

I am intrigued with hauntings and the possibility of such so I would buy it. If anything, I could get on one of those silly shows with mediums and stuff! :p

Sounds kind of like the house I live in now.

Actually, I don't know of the history behind my location. However, my house was built brand new after the previous house on the same ground was demolished. You've just made me curious to find out the history of my current residence. I hope it's nothing crazy.

I never understood how "hauntings" work. Do people haunt their own houses or the graveyards where their bodies end up? What happens if they're creamated? Do they haunt their urn?

Burial at sea....do they haunt flipper?

I'd buy it. I think you'd be hard-pressed in any major city to find a structure not built upon the foundation of some dead souls.

It depends. See if you are insane then all of those places are haunted by the spirit.

I wouldn't mind some ghosts in my house. Perhaps I could strike a bargain with them to utilize their uncanny ability to scare the living piss out of any potential burglars?

Heck yeah. Stabbings don't scare me. When I bought my current house, part of the deal was I got to murder the former owners with lotsa stabbin's. Cost extra, but oh so worth it.

The reason the house is sitting unsold may just be that a lot of houses are sitting unsold right now, and have nothing to do with the murders.

Dude, this is ATOT. Your prime answers are either:
1) Don't be a superstitious pussy
2) Tell your new neighbors you like to "keep a close eye on things," and keep your curtains shut.

Yep, this. How far back in time do you want to worry about?
See #1.

Depends on the price, I don't really care if I live on top of a Indian burial ground.

According to Odd Thomas, ghosts can't touch you directly. They can make shit fly around though. Also, they can't talk.

That's because answer #1 is correct.

I know some people that when they are ghosts, they will definitely still be talking
