So the seller just refuses to drive a car with over 100K miles? Just weird he would put it for sale at EXACTLY 100000 unless he'd been thinking about getting rid of it for a while and just wanted to hit that milestone.

I still want a Miata some day but it's just completely impractical right now for my family. I'd take the one you got at that price in a heartbeat even now - put a few hundred bucks into cosmetic repair and you'd have a great looking, low mileage, fun car to tool around in.

It's one of my great regrets that I'm 6'4", and my frame does not fit well in a Miata at all :( It's great fun, but I always hurt getting out after a drive around town, and my knees are awkwardly twisted and cramped in there. My USAF buddy has an awesome fully restored/optimized Spitfire that I literally cannot drive AT ALL either :(

NA (First Gen) = Change the seat and/or bolt it to the floor. There are plenty of options if you look around, and plenty of 6'4"+ Miata owners.

NB (Second Gen) = See NA

NC (Third Gen) = The NC is a bigger car, and you may not have to mod it at all to drive it comfortably. 2005-2007 cars are dropping down below $12K.

Well technically it had 99,992 :) I just drove it 8 miles home and forgot to snap a pic at 99999
