Based on the dutch Carver which Top Gear reviewed a while ago:

http://www.flytheroad.com/e_venture_one.html
Specs:
- 2 passengers
- 0-60mph in less than 6s
- top speed of around 100mph
- 350 mile range
- more than 100mpg
- flex fuel.
- $18k

Edit: added a poll
If they can make it, it would probably sell very well. I'd definitely want to get one.

that is seriously cool, it looks a bit odd. I think I'll get one and find somebody else who has one and challenge them to a Light Cycle race.

really though, I like it. 100+ MPH, electric and not too expensive. thumbs up I wanna check it out in real life

I like the idea and styling and such, reminds me of the T-Rex...but only for the three wheel design part. I would however, not feel safe at all in that on the road with other people around me.

Wouldn't be able to see the surrounding traffic, especially considering the behemoths that have become commonplace.

The article said the driving position puts the driver at the same height as the driver of a BMW 3 series.

That's a strong vote for RTFA :)

While the same height and length as the MINI Cooper, the driver in the VentureOne sits as high off the road as a BMW 3-series.

How are the crash ratings on that badboy.

I would consider getting one, except for the fact that I would feel like I was controlling a death machine... A miata could probably take that thing out.
