  • Community Question: What makes a good motherboard?

Question Would you buy RGB not-RAM for $62.99? This is insane!

Why aren't these like $15? The V-Color kit with actual DRAM present on two out of four RGB sticks, is only like $15 more expensive than without the DRAM-less RGB sticks.

No way I would pay that much for a LED strip that fits into a DIMM slot. They can't be that expensive to make.

Either that, or DRAM vendors have been ripping us off for the cost of using actual DRAM chips onboard for years...

These are priced high, but it's for the bling. A person buys 2 with actual DDR4 on them and 2 without. If you've ever played around with RGB memory you can do some cool effects....If your into that sort of thing.

Yes they are pricey!
