At K-mart right now they have 20% off and it seems to be working for all electronics also so for the 32" Vizio I've been wanting and saving for, for some time now, it'd cost $500 plus tax basically.

That's $100 less than it'd cost at Sams Club or Costco.

I've been watching the Black Friday ads like a hawk and haven't seen any other deals that look to be better so far.

I have the money saved up, so thats not an issue but of course if I could get it for cheaper, then I'd like to but I wonder how much lower it'd likely go than this...

What would the ATOT collective do?

This is true...

Close enough now that I'd be within any 30 return policy.

Just need to make sure I read all the fine print first I guess.

I'd say thats pretty standard pricing for a 32"

I don't think 32" size will be worthwhile in price compared to higher sizes. It is just in the range for a lot of lower end(paying) consumers.

Its cheap but it's not worth the money.

$0.02?

Aren't the holiday return policies extended now? Through January 2008..

Yeah... 32" is getting to the be the value size. Just like 22" LCD for desktops.

Also you are getting an even more "bang for the buck" on higher sizes because they are more mainstream, thus causes more panel revisions/generations.

Kinda how there isn't much technology applied to 17" LCDs....

32" is the standard size for new LCDs, something like 40% of all new LCDs sold are 32 inch. It's because they're closest to whatever magical price/performance ratio people tend to buy. Also, a SDTV signal with the signal bars on either end works out to roughly 25 inches, which has been the most popular SDTV size forever.

22 inch is definitely NOT the value size for LCD monitors. 19 inch is. By FAR.

I think you can find better deals though. I nabbed a 32 inch LCD TV for 280 bucks like a month ago, it was a recert from Newegg.

Most 22" panels have the same resolution as a 20" (1680 x 1050)

Larger panel + same resolution + no high quality technologies applied(in comparison to other sizes) + mass produce (for teh even cheaperz) = Value size
