I think I'd likely buy some for novelty value or as gag gifts. I may even try eating parts of it if I got adventurous enough.

You would probably scoop it up with little bit of top and bottom layers, that should be OK, after all you are not going to eat the gravy by itself...

MREs are packed full of awesome in self heating bags. I love canned food, and I'd definitely give this a try, but I'm skeptical regarding the flavor.

So its layered in a way that only makes sense if you eat it right out of the can... interesting.

That would make a hilarious Christmas dinner gag. Setup the table, all fancy with candles and everything, then give everybody a can opener, a fork, and one of those.
