Mine had cloth and was a 5-speed with just under 100k. In better cosmetic shape then what you're looking at. The price difference between limited and base GT isn't huge. When I bought mine I could have gotten a limited for less than $500 more.
Every car I have bought has had rust. It's unavoidable up here unless you get either a new car or one only a couple of years old.
Although somehow my boss's 06 impala is totally rust-free somehow, I don't quite understand it. I've seen newer cars that have at least some surface rust somewhere, but his has absolutely nothing and he drives it year round and has 140k on it now :|

The 5-speed also makes a difference in used car market resale values. This one is automatic; I saw a 5-speed with 42k miles go for $11,000 recently. Anyways, he is getting it appraised at the dealership, he is expecting around $9.5k. What do you suggest? This car also has new tires, if it makes a slight difference. I seriously don't think he will ever go below 9000, or even 9500...
