Would you buy a DS from Ebay or Craigslist?

I'm in the market for a DS and I'm thinking of going with a used one (hey gotta ride out the recession somehow). Anyway I never really bought electronics used before and I'm wondering if a used DS might be a waste of money. I'd hate to end up buying a defective or broken unit.

Anyone here bought a used DS, GBA or PSP? Did you have any problems with it?

Finally my other question is about the games, I'm looking primarily for puzzle, rpg and strategy games. Just wondering what some of the better ones are.

The DS is fairly durable, but one thing I would watch out for when buying used would be the amount of wear on the touch screen. Unless screen protectors are used they tend to develop scuff marks over time, especially if you play certain heavy stylus use games (e.g. Picross, Sudoku) for long periods of time.

And you often hear about broken hinges too. So if buying used I'd ask to see close up pictures of screens (especially the bottom touch screen) and the hinges.

Heck, I bought a 360 Premium used for $100 on eBay and it works great. Just buy from someone with high volume positive feedback.
