Would you be annoyed if someone kept clearing their throat during a test?

While doing a test with a 50-minute time limit, I was beginning to start, when the person behind me started clearing his throat... Ok, sure, a once in a while thing... Next 15 seconds... he clears it again... the next 15 seconds, again... Then he does it a few more times for every problem I do... Overall, he must've cleared it at least 50 times during the test... Everyone can hear it too... He doesn't have a cold or anything, but he just keeps doing it...

Would you be annoyed by this?...

Since our teacher is strict, if I turned around and said anything, he'd assume I was cheating and automatically fail me... It drove me nuts though....



 
Annoying, yes. Usually the teacher will ask if they need to step out for some water, guess yours didn't care much...
 
Nope. I learned to work under extremely stressful conditions in the military.

I'd just tune it out and do my work.
 
Couldnt you have just raised your hand and told the teacher to tell the guy to stfu lol. Im sure the other ppl in the classroom would have appreciate it.

this is what happens in most college examinations. there is ALWAYS that 1 person who has a nasal drip/cold/cough/etc
 
There's a guy in my class who is constantly breathing very deeply in through his nose and you get to hear that nice phlegmy noise resonating through the room, a bit shy of the sophisticated sound of someone preparing a loogey(SP?).

This guy is one of those who... is the one who likes to talk to teachers because no one else will talk or listen to him... So if the teacher tells him, he'll start crying.

I'd be annoyed, maybe inclined to turn around and tell him to get some water. If the teacher is that strict, bring it up to him after class and request he say something to anyone making that much noise.
