Alright, an IBM Deathstar has been recently RMA'd. It took about 2 weeks for them to send a replacement.

They sent another Deathstar that wouldn't even spin up. Kinda upset.

Would you write a disgruntled letter in this situation ?

how would you go about it ?

Thank You.

J

A letter's not going to get you anywhere. Just get another RMA. It's easier and there's a better chance of actually getting something done.

Did IBM scratch that line/series of HDs? or do they still sell them? I've heard wayyy too many stories about IBM hard drives messing up, all kinds of errors. I would just send it for RMA yet again, do they have advanced RMA? I got my WD RMA like 3 days before I sent my broken back, heh.

You could ask to speak to a CS supervisor and then complain to them....maybe they'll send you a bigger Crapstar which you can sell

I have never had an IBM drive die on me. I have, however had many WD's and Maxtors die. Go figger.

Hm.. not a bad idea.
I already got an RMA number.
I'll drop their CS supervisor a call. They can't even send out a frigging working HD.
IBM has seriously gone down the shitter, except for their laptop. I do believe their laptops don't even use IBM hard drives.

It will now and forever be called Deathstar.
