Would very much like a Manual Merc C230 or 300

Title kind of speaks for itself. I've heard pretty disappointing things about the gearbox though.

I like the looks of the '06 BMW 328i with a manual gearbox but it looks so generic...

Which brings me to perhaps a more interesting, less expensive option: a manual volvo sedan. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Preferably one with a turbo, because according to Jeremy, turbos get you laid 🙁

330i or 335i manual? I don't know much about the C230-300 manual, though they are very rare and I think they are made in South Africa.

Um, Mercury never made a C230 or 300. Maybe you need one of these.

as weird as it sounds, I am constrained by money.

Also, I like the more compact sedans.

Thats why they invented banks. Don't compromise, get the best. As Jeremy Clarkson always says, "MAXIMUM POWAHH". What happens when you're at the stoplight in your 311d and a M3 pulls up? You're screwed. Thats why you should probably get the M3 CSL or C BRABUS V12. Plus, you will have better resale value. 😛

EDIT: Twin-turbo BRABUS V12 will get you double action laid.

well the old ones do. Apparently the new C300s have a manual option, provided you live in Europe
