Would tihs work? Help please

Someone told me that he read on Wikipedia that ATI Radeon 9500 works with AGP 1.0 slots. So does that mean a card that's lower than 9500 would work? I am planning on buying a Radeon 9250 for my really old computer. I searched on NewEgg Saphire Radeon 9250 128MB 64bit, and it said it is AGP 2X. I couldn't find the 128bit card, so I'm not sure if it is AGP 2X. On another site, it said that Radeon 9250 Diamond something something does not work with AGP 1.0, but on the Radeon 9250 normal card it didn't say that it doesn't work with AGP 1.0, but it also didn't say that it does work, so I'm wondering if this card would work on my computer. My computer is a Dell Dimension XPS T450. Windows XP Pentium III, 450 Mhz, 384 MB Ram, and a AGP 1.0 slot (I think, I'm not sure how to check what slot I have, because I think my uncle has upgraded this machine before).

Thanks!

Read that article that I posted. I gaurantee it will answer all your questions. But yea, it should work.

Okay, thanks, but how do I check if I have an AGP slot?

EDIT: It says Radeon 9250 is a Universal AGP 3.0 Card. It says that 1x and 2x works with 3.3V but 1x, 2x, and 4x works with 1.5V. The card I want is only 4x and 8x, will it still work?

It should still work since it can run at 4x. To verify if you have an agp slot, open your case, and see if there is a brown ( i think its brown...some are yellow ) colored slot above the black ones which are PCI. If you do, check for writing above or below the slot, it should say agp somewhere.

Edit: This is taken from the article above....

AGP 3.0 added support for 0.8 volt signaling but it did not add a new kind of slot. If a video card supports either 1.5 volt or 0.8 volt signaling then it has the 1.5 volt slot.
