Now would that run?
I am going to OC the GPU
I really don't have more money but if there are problems I can spend some more.(Max. 100 USD)
I would like to get the parts from: http://www.amazon.co.uk/b/ref=sa_menu_cc4?ie=UTF8&node=428655031amazon.co.uk

I am in couple of months going to buy another HD6850(most likely the same as in the list) And OC it too.
Can I do that whit out changing any other parts?

And other question is if I buy 2 of those RAMs are they compatible as 8 gb of ram?
Thank you in advance ;)

Hello M&M's and welcome

So you've got about £600 to spend? And you don't need an OS, correct? Could I also ask what hardware are you running currently, and is there anything you could keep, e.g. the case or the drives?

I would recommend buying from www.scan.co.uk, their prices usually beat amazon and they have a fast and reliable service. (Have dealt with them myself many times.)

An Intel i5 build outperforms the AMD X4 on every level and should be manageable on your budget. Another option is the dual-core Intel i3-2100 which competes with X4: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/289?vs=102

If you're going to go with 8GB RAM, get a 2x4GB kit. Also, how soon are you planning to crossfire the 6850? It would probably be wiser to spend on a single powerful card like 6950 2GB or GTX 570. It'd also allow you to cut down the PSU and mobo costs... but nevertheless, here are my recommendations, priced from scan.co.uk:

Mobo Asus P8H67-M £75
CPU i3-2100 £90 or i5-2400 £150 or i5-2500K £170
GPU MSI 6870 Hawk £150 or MSI 6950 2GB Power Edition £220
RAM Corsair XMS3 2x4GB £38 (can also go with one 4GB stick, games are fine with 4GB)
HDD Samsung F3 1TB £47 (better than Seagate)
ODD Samsung DVDRW £14 (or that Lite-On which you listed for £11)
PSU Antec EA-650D £55
Case In Win Griffin £35
Wlan Edimax EW-7612PN £17

That's from £521 to £671 (+shipping), depending on your choice of CPU and GPU.

Either option is good, IMO. The i3-2100 can be upgraded to a quad-core Ivy Bridge, while the 6870 can be upgraded to HD7000 series.

Hello and thank you for your reply :)

What I seem have failed to mention is that I live in Finland and that is why I shop amazon
It is cheaper than Finnish shops and it has free delivery (some items)

I'm terribly sorry I forgot to mention that :(

I am getting the other HD 6850 after x-mas.
And as my budget is tight it seems like I will go whit the 1gb.

And about the CPU
i3 i found in Amazon in my price range was:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-SandybridgeCore-Quad-Core-Processor-Warranty/dp/B004FA8NPK/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1319111118&sr=1-1

It seems to be better and as I switch mobo(to what u recommendet) it is not even more expensive.

I'll stick whit the 4 gb and 8 gb set later on if I need it.
Does this sound ok?

Rest of that I'll keep the same (All tho I found that samsung HDD cheaper from the place I get my OS, so I'll be getting that.)

And I do not have old parts, I'm a laptopper.

(God damn, that case would look so much better :( )

Hey, I live in Finland too :).

Are you quite sure it's cheaper in amazon than in Finnish shops? And doing returns on DOA or otherwise faulty items is going to be pretty awful overseas. Also, 1 GBP is 1,15 eur, so for a £600 setup you'd be paying almost 700e. Let's see

Asrock H67 78e ~ £68 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/488712
i3-2100 108e ~ £94 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/510356 OR i5-2400 175e ~ £152 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/488621
Sapphire 6850 144e ~ £126 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/454351 OR Sapphire 6870 176e ~ £154 http://www.tietokonekauppa.fi/?koodi=57106
Corsair XMS3 2x4GB 52e ~£45 http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/produ...-9-9-9-24-XMS3
Samsung 1TB 54e ~ £47 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/433480
Sony DVDRW 19e ~ £17 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/425438
Antec HCG-520W 77e ~ £67 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/465621
Antec 300 58e ~ £50 http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/produ...-virtalahdetta
Edimax EW-7728In 28e ~ £24 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/319356

Total = 618e to 717e (~ £560 to £650) depending on choice of CPU and GPU (shipping included).

Dual-GPU compatibility is going to set you back quite a bit. Corsair TX750 V2 102e ~ £89 http://hintaseuranta.fi/tuote.aspx/499028 and Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 131e ~ £95 http://www.tietokonekauppa.fi/?koodi=67227, that's 78 eur more at the very least.

You could also cut down costs with your original case choice, Coolermaster 310 for 34e.

In my opinion you should only consider ordering from amazon if the particular component is significantly cheaper from amazon, with shipping included.

I agree with lehtv that you are better off getting an i3 because it is fairly close in multithreaded apps but faster in single-threaded apps and uses less power.

Also, rather than spending a bunch of money on a dual-GPU capable PSU and mobo, you'd get better performance by getting a more moderate setup and putting that money back into the GPU. Crossfire scaling isn't perfect, and you have to deal with lots of annoying issues, so it's only worth it on the high end where it can offer performance that can't otherwise be obtained with a single GPU.
