Would this ram work with a dfi ultra-d motherboard?

it'll work, its not what i'd call popular and might give you some oc'ing fits but some have had luck with it.

dfi.street is a good place to search it out. most corsair is ok at stock but can have oc issues on dfi nf4s.

this stuff is a little more, you may want to look at-

edit-thats bh5, sorry. its good stuff but you need not be afraid of volts with that stuff so i usually don't recommend it.

this is better and cheaper-

Why not the value VX? It runs around $110 and will easily run 2-2-2 up to 230-240 MHz. Of course you will need to give quite a few volts (3.2 IIRC).

These sticks.... this model specifically, dont get the ones that are a few dollars cheaper. OCZ4001024WV3DC-K

Will hit close to or above DDR500 speeds at 2-2-2-5. it requires a motherload of voltage, but thats what the DFI NF4-Ultra is for. I got my new system last week, DFI -NF4 ultra and this ram, i have been burning in over the last week and tinkering... but im at 235mhz at 2-2-2-5 at 3.32 volts and have alot more headroom. I hope to hit 245+

Its pretty cheap if your into cheap overclocking. If you dont want to overclock just give the sticks 3volts and run 2-2-2-5 @ DDR400. Great deal IMO.

the gold vx is great, the value i wouldn't touch. the gold is on bh5 and with the volts is great but you need to actively cool it.

the value is utt/ch5 and i wouldn't use it. just imo. too many problems and not enough history, especially pumping that many volts through.
