I live with my roommate. We split everything down the middle 50/50.
I have been dating someone for 3 months.
He lives 1 hour away from his college, which happens to be in my city.

He works 2 days a week and does not make even a fraction of enough to help with anything.
He wants to stay with me 5 days a week, and only go home when he has to work, and then have me pick him up again the Friday he is done working.

I told him last night that, although I don't mind him being here, he doesn't live here, and that maybe he ought to go home every once in a while. He has been pissy ever since.

He doesn't have a car and has to rely on his friend to drive him from home to school and back again as they live in the same town and go to school about the same time.

If he wants to stay with you the majority of the time, that's "let's move in together" time, if it's a real relationship. Otherwise it's just using you.

Free lovin? How is it that you think he eats and drinks and goes anywhere the 5 days he wants to stay with me?

Either way he is going home today. I drove him to school this morning and he slammed my trunk after getting his book bag out and just went into the school.

Heh, a member of my circle of friends used to get rides from everyone because he didn't have a car. He could have purchased a car, but it took him years to finally get around to it. I gave him a ride to go grocery shopping one time, and not only did he bring along his dog without asking, after we had been at the store for about forty-five minutes, he asked if we could go to the other store on the other end of town. It was the same franchise, he just wanted to go there because he knew the layout of the goods better.

There were many incidents previous to that one, but it was that one that broke the camel's back.

I meant that he shouldn't be asking to stay with you all the time if it's not in order to move in together, and share expenses.

95% of the college students I've ever met carry a book bag. I didn't because I rarely went to class when it wasn't a test day.
