I am in the market for a Widescreen LCD monitor, I was looking at the 2405FPW from Dell but I found the Syntax Kolin DLT-3212M at TigerDirect for $699, I realize that it is a Television but I am in the Air Force and want sort of a multifunctional dispaly that I can use for TV and my computer. I guess my main question is do you think that 1366x768 is too low of a resolution for 32" and still use it from 12"-18" like a computer monitor?

i'm wondering if anyone here uses a 32" tv as a monitor also. i'd like to pick up a 32"HD soon, (not lcd tho, although that one the OP linked looks pretty good). i'd like to keep it on my desk and be able to use it just fine tho, which is like a foot or two away.

I bought it along with 2x400GB HDDs so I can rip all of my DVDs. I should have it set up on Dec 24 (first time home since I left for basic on June 27).
