Would this Hardware cut it for WinXP Pro??

This is my current Hardware setup:

P3 Slot 1 @ 750Mhz?100MHZ FSB
512MB SDRAM at 100mhz
60Gig HD @ 7200Rpm
Abit BH6 MB that is 4 years old
Riva TNT2 video card with 16MB Ram

Okay I have both Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro. Right now I have Windows 98, but I would like to install XP Pro.

Do you think that my current hardware setup will run XP Pro without any major performance slowdown. I have installed W2K pro before and the PC actually speed up a bit, but now I?d like to install XP Pro for the stability over 98. I could still install W2K Pro, but I?d rather go with XP Pro.

Any sugestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Either Win 2K Pro or XP Pro should run just fine on that setup.

I run Win 2K Pro but thats just a personal preference

I've run Win XP PRO on k6-2 550's and it works fine. Not as fine as on an XP1600+ or something like that, but it works alright.

It will run fine if you keep it up and do regular file mantinance but win 2k will run faster.
