I have this:

Battery:
NP-550

Camcorder
Sony DCR-TRV320

I lost my camcorder charger, my question is: If I bought this battery charger:

That IS compatible with my battery but my camcorder name (DCR-TRV320) is not one of the "Compatible Models". Would it work regardless? Because this system is charging the battery and has nothing to do with the camcorder. I could find another charger but I dont want to spend nearly 20 dollars when I could spend $4.50. Thanks.
 
NP-550 is an L series, right?

Check to see if the charger works with L series (or which every series.)

I know I have a 520 and the charger for my 520 works with my VX2100, which are L series batteries. The charger controls are in the camera when I use it.
