Would this be a good tv?

I read that the new plasmas are pretty good and I don't want to spend much. I already have a 50 inch toshiba projection tv 720p but it's very bulky, thinking of an upgrade.

Any advice would be helpful. I'd like the option of hooking it up to the computer, not sure where to get a HDMI cable long enough but really, this tv wouldn't be used much, just some gaming here and there.

or this one, this one actually says HD on it's description.

The first is only a 720p TV so gaming would be pretty crappy (bad resolution)
The second is 1080p So do a lot better for pc gaming.

Maybe for PC gaming but for console gaming it's fine and at 50" it's on the cusp of being able to see any advantage for 1080p at normal viewing distance.
