Would there be a problem if I installed NOD32 with bitdefender?

I currently have BitDefender 9 Pro and ZAP installed, and I was wondering if installing NOD32 to have an extra scanner would create problems. Any ideas? Also, a n00b question: I know that some BitDefender processes are running, but there's no icon in the system tray. Is that supposed to happen?
