A war on personal freedom can never be won. People like to get high, there's nothing you can do about that.

And why would you want to anyway? There's nothing wrong with wanted to get high. Humans like pleasure. Oh noes!

As soon as we can use drone strikes to stop drunk driving, and driving while text, then we should use them on the WoD™.

Why hasn't the WoD been used in Afghanistan? 80% or more of all heroin comes from there and I've never heard of us destroying the
poppy fields and stopping the harvesting & production. It's all about the money as usual.

Drugs will never go away. even in Saudi arabia where you lose your head if you're caught with them has them. Too much profit margin to make them go away. The more you crank the screws the more margin and more try and get in at their shot of making millions for fairly little work.

Drugs - marijuana arguably aside - are more destructive than pleasurable. There's plenty wrong with it - they destroy people's lives and people around them.

Those same people would destroy their lives no matter what.

All the people I've met who were into drugs were dead inside long before the drugs came.

Drug abuse patterns also reveal what is physically wrong with a person. Someone might enjoy amphetamine but hate morphine. Some people can't stand smoking, but they love smoking when they drink alcohol. People are attracted to drugs that solve problems. Look at what a person's drug of choice is, and that will tell you a lot about that person. Noticing that someone is a smoker tells you a LOT about that person's body. In general, it means their body's acetylcholine activity is rather low, otherwise smoking would make them sick.

Craig234's walls of text have destroyed more lives than drugs. We need a War on Craig234.

The war on drugs would be won VERY quickly if we used predators along the border. Seriously, would YOU run drugs when this guy is there trying to stop you?
