would the gf mx ddr be better then the geforce256 ddr

i currently have the gf256 ddr and heard that gf mx ddr from creative labs is coming out soon.and also its cheap 129usd how would this compare?
 
Haven't heard of this one, but if it's tru, I would suppose since the mx is similar to the regular 256, the mxddr version would be better than the 256ddr.
 
the mx ddr will be slower than the mx sdr because the bandwith will be the same but ddr has slightly higher latency. It'll be a lot slower than a gf256 ddr.
 
No, this card will have ddr but it will only be 64bits, which will make it about the same speed as the geforce2 MX sdr 128bit. It would be a downgrade for you.
