Would substituting Turkey for Beef work in Beef Stroganoff?

Hmm.... we are kind of low on food here at the house... I see some Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff in the cubord. Unfortunately, we have no beef. But we have some frozen turkey left over from Christmas.

So... what do you guys think... Turkey Stragonoff? :D

It dont matter what the meat is i mixed tuna into hamburger helper beef lasagna for lunch yesterday it tasted prettty.

Wait, leftover from Christmas? I've kever eaten leftovers that old...Then again, ours stay in the refrigerator.

I believe Turkey can be frozen for up to six months... or maybe it is three. Either way I am still within the time limit.

And yah, if it stays in the fridge, I think it is supposed to be a week max.

Read the instructions - ground turkey is a perfectly acceptable subsitute. It's right under step one IIRC.

Not ground tureky... regular turkey. As in straight off the bird :).

Anyway, the verdict is... zehr gut! :)
