Would something like this be ok for streaming an HD signal?

I've never used a PC with my home theater before. Would something like this

be ok for streaming netflix to my HDTV? I'm looking for something cheap; streaming video is all it would ever do. I don't care what it looks like, I have plenty of room in a cabinet to hide it. I only care that it's not choppy.

Nobody knows?

I have some old video cards lying around that I could add - 7800 GT, 8800 GTS 320, 8800 Ultra.

The reason I'm asking is that a friend of mine hooked up his laptop to my HDTV so we could order the first few epsiodes of The Walking Dead season 2 from itunes. The watching experience ended up being a bit choppy for my tastes (his laptop has a 2 ghz Turion CPU), but I'm not sure if the choppiness was due to the limitatons of his laptop.

Neverthe less I like the idea of having a PC hooked up permanently so I could order stuff in advance and save it on the HD to watch later.
