Would someone like to donate a 14" or 15" LCD to me?

I was thinking that too.

They're more than just a normal LCD, aren't they?

Umm I hate to tell you this but ELO already makes touch screen LCD's.
If you are developing an application for touch screens there is no reason why you can't buy an ELO crt on flEaBAY for cheap.

I have a friend at a company that's designing a membrane-type touchscreen film, kindof similar to those "window-cling" holiday stickers that adheres to the surface of LCD glass/plastic. He said he could get me one and it would be approved for their field-testing protocols too. Some sort of pressure-sensitive stuff that does ultra-high resolutions (as far at touchscreens are concerned). I can't say anymore than that.

You could probably find one for like 75 bucks from a surplus type store. Keep an eye out.

Hmm, I shall.
