Would somebody help me with my website?

I had coppermine installed in the root directory. I uninstalled it, the website started getting Server 500 errors instead of the blank page. I then installed Gallery in the root directly and nothing works still. Same error.

The uninstallation asked me to erase some files, so I did. It wasnt working after that, so I cleared out the public_html folder. Probably a bad move.

Anybody want to help me?
