Would setting up Bitstreaming from my computer to receiver benefit AAC, FLAC, or AC3?

I was thinking about setting up bitstreaming on my computer to send the audio to my receiver. Most of my video rips are in AAC, FLAC, or AC3. I was wondering if bitstreaming these files instead of having them processed by the computer would benefit the audio of my video rips or not?

I was going to set up MPC-HC to use bitstreaming with FFDSHOW AUDIO, but I think I might try out that LAV Audio I've heard of.

Are most movies and shows recorded in 48Khz? Would bitstreaming the audio instead change any of this?

He asked if bitstreaming would benefit formats like AAC, FLAC, or AC3. The answer is no, there would be no benefit. The only potential benefit is for HD audio formats like True HD or DTS Master Audio. Even then, bitstreaming is generally over-rated. Unless you have a high-end stereo system you are unlikely to be able to tell the difference between bitstreaming and LPCM, unless you have an older system that can only pass LPCM over 2 channels.

Actually, I thought it could help with AC3, as that would mean that the receiver's DTS/DD decoder would be doing the processing and not the computer's software. All the others would need to be processed by the computer and converted to PCM.

AC3 yes. Bitstreaming will bypass the mixer. Vista/7 mixer isn't as bad as XP's kmixer but I like my audio untouched.
AAC/FLAC no. It would need to be transcoded to DD/DTS.
