Would Really Like to get SpeedFan working with this Dell

At least SpeedFan is the best program I can think of. I am trying to get mainly the CPU fan to stop going full speed.

A little backstory. The Computer is a Dell XPS One.

I did a CPU upgrade recently (found an E8500) and it is working fairly well. More about that over here:

The major issue I am having is that with this CPU, the built-in fan speed controls are not working. Since it's a Dell, there is nothing to control the fan speed in the BIOS/software. So the CPU fan is stuck at full throttle, which is unacceptable. If I can't get something working, I will just put the original CPU back in.

I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions for getting Speedfan to work. I have watched some YT videos and played around with it for a little while, but nothing I am doing seems to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. And I can throw up screenshots. I just don't want to waste time/space gathering images that don't help.

Yeah, the connections are little 3s. Not a standard connection either. A modded BIOS would probably do it (as the fan doesn't spin up until half-way through the BIOS load) but it probably is a lost cause. I put the original cpu back in and it is back to being a nice and quiet (until it gets a good load) machine.
