Why not just create a new thread with the title date of the old thread and then the old thread title and then link to the old thread

having so many old threads here is starting to get rather confusing
 
ya I am pissed at myself for bumping a 3 day old thread and all I said was Blah blah blah and rolled my eyes

I don't mind an old thread coming to the top but when "bump" is the only new comment, it's really stupid. It's not like we haven't read these arguements before.
