Are those things fun for more than 10 minutes?

It seems like the kind of toy you play with for a short while, then never touch again.

it's entertaining now and then... especially if you have pets that watch or follow it. it's surprising how much air the firefly moves when it goes over you.
i kind of wish i had gotten one with a horizontal tail rotor though. that gives you forward/reverse control and hovering instead of constant forward flight.

Damn you! I hate being bored at work because I usually end up purchasing something. It happened last week with an SVS sub. :)

did you crash it?
the nice thing about the firefly is that the rotors are surrounded by rings so even if you fly it into a wall you won't snap blades off like you might with other helicopters.

I have two micro ones and one bigger one that has forward and reverse controls and all three of them just sit and collect dust now.

The single-blade mini models are pretty crappy.

The best ones have dual blades. The best micro heli you can get imo is the Air Hogs "Reflex" (from Toys R Us etc.). I've had a handful of different mini helis and the Reflex is the best by far ;)
