Would Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and CBS all access make more money if they allowed the option of free with ads?

Too many streaming options nowadays is making it more expensive the cable. If everyone went to a free with ads model as an option they would generate even more money right?

I dont mind ads when I watch Hulu, make it so.

Amazon prime will have shows, or movies with ads. I was watching the Ateam a few weeks ago with ads. It wasn't bad TBH. Didn't Netflix try ads last year and most users were upset with this approach, so they stopped. Would a free Netflix subscription with ads work? I don't know. I'm sure the execs and marketing people have talked about this, and they backed off for reasons unknown.

Hulu was free with ads so I guess not

I would take anything free with ads,i believe in balance. You get free entertainment and for that you sit through a few commercial breaks. I wouldn't complain unless it ended up being more commercial time then movie perhaps.

I’d rather pay than deal with ads if I had the choice.
