Hello everyone, my second topic, and again im asking for help :(, i had a topic wich i got some info, because im planing on upgrading my video card.

i was going for the 9800GTX but im not too sure if that card fits on my Dell Dimension 9200, so if anyone knows if it fits it would be good to know :D,

the other thing is if i dont buy the 9800GTX wich is at 150 on amazon, and tiger direct, i was planing on getting a 9800GT or 9600GT, but i dont know if the 9800GT or 9600GT will work with my current power supply.

Its a 375Watt hast 2 12Vrails rated at 18A each. its the stock Dell PSU.

i considered the ATI choices but i havent found any of them at a good price plus ive read that they tend to run hotter soooo.. hope anybody can help :)

See my sig.

My Seasonic S12II 380W has 2 12V rails rated at 17A each and a combined 12V rating at 27A. (324W / 12V)

My 6-month-old 9600GT OCed runs fine so far .

What is your combined 12V rating? To get the combined rating, take the combined wattage rating for 12V rails, and divide it by 12V.

I run a 4850 that uses a similar amount of power to an 9800GTX. I use a 380W supply and draw from the wall is well under 250W at full load. You should be okay power wise as long as you don't start majorly overclocking. OC-ed GTX can use almost twice the power of stock GTX, and Q6600s also can start sucking juice when overclocked.

But if you keep them near stock, that supply should be fine.

Can't help you out with fitment. I'd break out the ruler, there has to be a review somewhere that has dimensions on those cards.

no luck with the fit review, i end up ordering a 9800GT Akimbo Edition, i guess my power supply will work with it, i noticed the 9800GTX would go under the CPU heat sink and near the sata cables so i didnt want to risk it. i aimed at at 4850 but prices were too high, so i end up with that 9800GT 129$
