Would my powersupply hold up to this

You see all the stuff in my sig.. I'm thinking of ditching 1 of the HD's and getting 2 sata drives to do RAID with my lanparty II..... with all the overclocking and stuff would my 350 watt enermax handle it? also is the performance boost worth it. Should i use the raid setup as my "main" drive or my storage.....

...lol 🙂

Why does every second post around here lately ask stuff like will this psu be good enough...??

I'm sure your PSU will be fine. The easiest way to find out is try it - you'll know if it isn't up to the job if the PC bursts into flames.

what sort of rigs actally need 480 true antecs and stuff?

Where I used to work, there were IBM Netfinity servers with all of the above (4x Xeon 700, 4GB ECC RAM, 6x 15K SCSIs). They had three redundant 500W PSUs installed - but would be fully operational with ONE plugged in.

ever heard of dual processors and 15k rpm scsi raid hardware?

think logically, did you think those computers required psu's they don't even make?
