OK, how about some actual facts.
First, the majority of motorcycle fatalities happen when the rider's been drinking or doing drugs. This component of safety won't change if there are fewer cars. The fact remains that motorcycles punish stupidity much more thoroughly than cars--how many drunk drivers crash into someone and survive? This, I think, is if anything a
good thing.
The other really big killer is going too fast around a corner and running off the edge...well, this one is really because most people who ride motorcycles are young and love speed. Simple responsibility takes care of that one.
The biggest killer that doesn't involve the motorcycle involves cars not paying attention, and turning into an intersection (right on red, or unprotected left) right in front of a motorcycle. This wouldn't be nearly as big a problem if everyone rode a motorcycle, because people would notice motorcycles more, people turning would spend less time in the intersection at low speeds, and crashes wouldn't be quite as deadly.
Snow and ice is a problem, though, unless you have a sidecar. Rain, not so much really.

Yeah cause motorcycles are a practical vehicle for day to day activities. Also, what the hell kind of argument is they weigh less? I would think a bit more before posting
Funny, everyone in SE Asia seems to think so. You'd be amazed what you can carry on just a simple little 125cc scooter.
