He sounds like a good leader, discarding useless emotions and taking logical decisions. Perhaps he should have killed the dog and ate it for dinner instead? ;)

Really? So Mitt who do you really care about?

Mittens cares about whatever a particular audience pays him to care about.

If only poor people could afford him...he'd care about them too. Cruel irony that. :|

WTF?

Do you even have a dog?

Dogs ride around here on state highways and even interstates in the bed of pickup trucks. That's no different then being on the roof in a box or whatever.

Romney had 5 kids in the car, no way to put the dog inside. If the dog got car sick up there, it would've gotten car sick inside.

I don't believe the dog was afraid. Nor do I believe the wind bothered it. I don't care how fast you're going, any dog I've seen likes to stick it's head out of the car window and into the wind.

The whole thing is stupid. I don't care, or think it matters, that Obama ate some dog meat when he was a little kid. As much as I love dogs, I don't think it would matter if he were a foreign trip and they served him dog and he ate it.

Heh do you have a dog OP? Dogs love sticking their heads out the window of cars. Chances are the dog had a great time with all the air flowing in its face. Besides, it was sick. What would you suggest? Cramping a sick dog in with the rest of the family so it could crap all over them? And this is an issue in this election? This happened 30 years ago and is a non-issue.

Now that Romney is the GOP candidate, the dimlib smearing machine will be working overtime to come up with anything they can. This kind of idiotic "story" is just a start.

I think they are suggesting he should have butchered it and fed it to his children so it could ride inside the car.

Gingrich is the one who dredged it up. I guess Republicans are dimlibs :D

LMAO, thanks!

And I highly doubt that the kennel was airtight as has been suggested. Seamus would have been brain dead after twelve hours, and since there is no evidence of Seamus voting for Obama, that obviously didn't happen.

In a related interview, Diane Sawyer asked Obama if he would eat dog again. He answered

Certainly not with the gaminess of the meat. But I'd eat a cat in a heartbeat.

Why does Obama want to eat our pets?

Better question: Why the fuck do people care about EITHER OF THESE THINGS? THESE ARE NOT ISSUES.

It's a thin election cycle, and the conservotards are already grasping at straws.

Don't worry guys...you'll always have that "forged" birth certificate.

They have to catch up with three years of repuglitard smearing of Obama. By the way, this idiotic story started with Newt. Guess that makes you pretty dim too.

Hope you're not serious but sadly I know you're not.

Sure, a dog likes to stick his head out in the wind, like people. But for hours on end? No, why do you think it got sick?

When I drove cross-country with three dogs, I bought a roof carrier so that my dogs would have plenty of room inside the car and I could keep all of my stuff up in the carrier. I'm sure Mitt with all of his money could have easily afford a roof carrier.
