Would like your advice on a new Vid Card!

So I have about $200 to spend on a new card.

I currently have a Radeon 9500.

For the $150-$200 range, I see the following cards that make me wonder...

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256
ATI Radeon X700 Pro 256
GeForce 6600 GT 128


Should I choose one of the above cards, or is there something better right around the $200 mark?

I use my machine pretty much only for gaming (95%), specifically, online gaming (EQ2, World of Warcraft).

Jump on the Black Friday deal @ CompUSA for the PNY Geforce 6800nu.

If you can't make the deal, the 6800nu is about $250... so if you can splurge a bit, your 9800pro and x700 will get blown out of the water.

Otherwise, wait a little bit for 6600GT AGP cards to hit the streets and come down in price (a matter of days now, hopefully).

Unless you have a PCI-express compatible motherboard, the X700pro isn't gonna work. They don't have an AGP version out yet.

And I agree with 2Xtreme, if you can throw in another 50 bucks or so, get yourself a 6800NU and be happy. The 6800NU will blow anything out of the water for its price.

6800NU for $200 is as good as you can get right now.
