Would like to mod my case...

Just wondering what would be a good dremel to pick up, this weekend? I'd like to add a fan to the side of my case to pull out the heat from my 6600GT. The other fan would be placed inside on the top of the case to suck out the over all heat.

I'm thinking of running a tube from the side mounted fan to attach just above the video card gpu.

Anywho what is a good dremel to pick up to help me with my modding job....cordless, corded?

Looking for quality product not some el'cheapo thats going to die 3months later, It will be used for more then modding my box, I have a few ideas for an xbox and a cell phone...

Unless your case is made of a really heavy gage sheet metal, you can just use a nibbler. If it's heavy gage, I used orbiter or jig saw. Then finish it with a round file and sand paper or you can dremel it. I don't recommend dremel since it will requires a lot of talent and material to use it properly.

I've had bad experiences with the cordless ones... they just don't have enough 'oomph!'.

The batteries also wear out.. eventually.. so you can only use them for like 30 minutes.

But that's my experience 🙂
