Wow, that's a nice top end setup you have there. Might want to think about saving a little bit of cash and getting the OEM version of Vista Ultimate 64 bit as opposed to retail though since you're doing a full system build you legitimately qualify to use it. I honestly don't see any faults with the build though, that system should perform fine at anything you can conceivably throw at it for a while.

the only major things I see are that the PSU is a bit overpriced and you don't need anywhere near that much power until you start going SLI or even tri SLI.

vista ultimate, I don't really see much of a difference between that and home premium

Corsair 650TX $80AR

Even better. Plenty of power for any two-card CF/SLI setup (barring dual 4870X2 and/or GTX 295, that is) and super quiet. Made by Seasonic, the best in the business. And $25 cheaper than the 750TX (which isn't made by Seasonic and is just mediocre based on several reviews I've seen).

And look into the combo deals on this page. Especially #15: i7 920 + P6T Deluxe + 6GB DDR3-1333 for $630 (should save you $30 and net you the P6T DELUXE versus the standard model).

Great case :) I just recently bought it. Definitely a quiet PC even with all 3 fans at 12V, and whisper quiet if you can stand higher temps and lowering the 12v to 5v.

Steer clear of Asus. They are not the board maker they use to be. Me? I've owned Asus boards in every single machine I've built. Total of about 6 Asus boards. They goofed on the MIIF board. My P5Q premium will do 500fsb no problems. The MIIF is a different story but not only that, they haven't even updated the south bridges firmware. Reference here and check the last few pages. Specially read what e.v.o. has to say about them. I'm not trying to hate on them but I bought the MIIF board thinking after researching that this would be the board to own, and its nice no doubt but its not the enthusiast board as it marketed to be - even has the Republic Of Gamers approval for a price in the upper 200$ area. Me, I would like the performance of the UD3 Gigabyte 775 boards for my two hundred and seventy nine dollar board to perform like the 114$ UD3R board I just purchased from New Egg. 620fsb on the first try for some guy on XS forums, using a Q9650, that is just retarded.

I know this is just history about the 775lga socket but sometimes history speaks volumes about that some thing. Even though the 2oz copper may not apply to the stability of the fsb with the on-die memory controller of the 1366, personally I am seriously considering the UD5 for my i7 920 build; and we are talking about purchasing either today or tomorrow. Yes, I know 2 boards in the same week, lol...

Its up to you, just trying to help :)
