I would like to upgrade my current LCD display to one which has a larger panel but performs very much the same if not better. However, I would just like to gauge what you Techheds think.
I have a Hitachi 17" CML174SXWB which has a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 and a Response time of 16ms. I would like to keep that spec as a bare minimum.
Ideally, I would like to purchase a monitor that is at least 19" (Preferably 20" or 21"). It should have a high contrast ratio (>400:1) a native resoluton of 1600 x 1200 and the response time must be at least 16ms. I would prefer the bezel to be thin and black in colour. Oh yes, it must have at least one DVI input.
In terms of cash I would like to pay less than £1,000.00.
I suppose I'm being lazy in my search but I went through all this before waiting for the Dell 2001FP to arrive which turned out not to be what I was hoping (Dead pixel problems concerned me).
Can anyone start me off in the right place?
Thanks.
