would it look bad if there was a very low attendance to my presentation?

So I'm giving an end of the summer presentation (required for all interns)
I didn't invite any of the other interns.. even though most would attend mine
I only invited the people required to be there (3-5 people) plus a couple of others. I'm at a 50% rate right now, I believe about 4-5 will actually come to my presentation

I didn't want a packed room but did I go too conservative? I feel more comfortable with less people in the audience
how would this reflect on my manager and the recruiter?

Now, it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare
minimum. Well, like Brian, for example, has 37 pieces of flair. And a
terrific smile.

you had the opportunity to reach a wider range of audience and chose not to, it may reflect negatively if they knew you only invited a few due to your nervousness..
your 3-5 people can be considered an office meeting instead of a presentation.

At the last minute, if you feel that you could use more people in the audience, send out an email: "Donuts in room 1408!"
