Would it be worth it?

I have a XFX 6600GT 128MB AGP on my other PC and I was going to OC it because I really don't care if it dies. I was wondering what I would need to OC to to see any results and what comparible card would it upgrade to? Also if I use a aftermarket cooler would the -20c actually help in the long run? I'm using DDR2 Corsair Value RAM and I'm not that familiar with OC'ing older cards.

Personally, I don't think it will make any difference, one way or the other!

6600 GTs were good cards in their day, but...

I'm running a XFX 7600 GT (7600 GT on a 6600 GT PCB) and I don't even bother OC'ing that! ;)

LoL! Wanna hear a weird one?

My XFX 7600 GT is actually selling for $50 more now, than when I bought it 9 months ago...

Sup dat? :D

EDIT

BTW, if your GPU sits sideways like mine does, you're gonna have a hella hard time finding an aftermarket cooler that will fit it. Stick with the OEM setup!

My 7600 GT uses a 6600 GT reference fan, so the stock one was pretty good...

your card is two generations old, so its like asking if you should pedal faster on your bike and everyone is like "dude, we have cars now."
other than that, it may be fun to screw around with it, but if its all you got, i wouldn't fix something that isn't broken.
