Would it be safe to say that DVI compliance for the new ATI X1000 models would no longer be an issue.

Many previous AGP cards which had a DVI connection did not pass the DVI compliance test. This failure resulted in a screen filled with jitters which ultimately made the display useless.

I havent heard anyone discussing DVI compliance anymore, even for the previous X models by ati (x300, x700, and x800). So i must therefore assume that these newer X1000 models will have no problem passing the DVI compliance tests.

My concern is that the card may not be DVI compliant and will produce jitters which could potentially damage my 3000$ monitor. So you can understand my sincere concern.

Im guessing that this DVI compliance, which is discussed here at anandtech and at toms hardware guide, is really an issue of the past. But i have to make sure! And i dont have another LCD 1600x1200 monitor to test the card on.
