If the painstaking, chem weapons disposal procedures we undertake on Johnson Island are any indication, the unintended release of a chemical agent during such an event is certainly a possiblity. The contamination resulting from a conventional strike on a storage facility would, however, depend upon a number of variables such as weather, storage facility construction, blast effects on containers, etc.
