Would it be bad to change airflow direction

Hello,

for the moment my cpu cooler is sucking air and blowing it towards the exhaust fan at the top of my case.
I'm replacing the NB, SB and mosfet coolers with thermalright after market solutions on my rampage formula. Problem is that the cpu cooler will make the installation of the aftermarket mosfet coolers impossible except when I place it not vertical but horizontal.
Then it will suck air from the bottom of the case and exhaust to the top of the case.
Is this ok because i don't want to install everything and notice higher temps than before 🙂

You may notice higher temps then before as some coolers with heat pipes do not like to be installed vertically. The difference in temps would be minimal, but it could change.

If the temps do rise, you may consider a blowhole above the heatsink to extrack air out. I even changed my rear exhaust fan to draw air in when I had a sink mounted vertically...it actually worked better for my system. I just reversed the case fans and created positive case pressure and exhausted the air vie the graphics cards and a front fan.

No harm and no fouls, just try it out and see how it goes.
