Would is be possible to create a program that does this?

My dumbass boss plays way to much solitaire during work. Would it be possible to create a small program to install on his computer so that he NEVER wins. Watching him get very fustrated after not winning after 2 or 3 days would be awesome.

Yes. there are some games of solitaire that it is impossible to win at.

I think I read in the tutorial that every game is possible to win.

It depends on the type of solitaire. You are probably thinking of the Freecell help, but it doesn't say for sure, just that every game is supposedly possible to win. However, it is a fairly trivial matter to create a Freecell game that is impossible to win-- but it would be obviously impossible. The trick would be to create a game that could randomly generate games that are impossible to win that look possible.

OP, sounds like a fun challenge. Why don't you give it a whirl?

EDIT: I thought of a workable scheme.
