Would i see any difference if i upgrade from 256 mb to 512mb ?

I am planning to upgrade my cusl2 from 256 sdram to 512 sdram, would i see any difference of not ?🙂

I won't be nearly as noticeable as the difference from 128 to 256....

It really depends on what apps you use. In heavy duty photoshop or video editing use, you'll have some more breathing room

With games, chances are you won't really notice a difference.

Please be more specific... like tell us what you are doing.

If you mutitasking, yes it would make a significant difference.
For current games however i think 256 is an adequate amount unless you are going to run at really high resloutions.

i dont know jack about XP, so would going from 512 DDR to 1024 DDR make a difference? or would it be a waste?

it depends.........check taskmgr often to check your memory usage....if it stays below 256, then more ram is pointless. everytime it goes above, the 512 would be benefiting you at that moment, it just depends on how often you are using that much ram (if ever), because thats when you start having to hit the page file which is what slows you down.
