don't worry...it's for wacky pep-band dress. I found some crazy pants on ebay that are a womens' size 6. what does that mean? is there some method for coverting womens' sizes to girth and length numbers like for mens' sizes? I normally buy 30x30 pants.

i think so. It'd be a tight fit though.

I'm about 28 - 30 waist, I fit a size 4 dress. lost a big bet. :(

what do womens' pants sizes actually mean though? isn't there some set of guidlines that matches a "size" with some certain measurements?

It all depends. Women's size are all screwed up so it totally depends on the manufacturer. One companies size 4 could be another companies size 8. I've got about a 31-32 inch waist and bought a size 10 or 12 skirt for Halloween a coupla years ago.

EDIT: Even if the waist fits I doubt the pants will be comfortable. Women's pants have less room in the crotch for obvious reasons.

they don't mean anything, which is why we wear them. Do you think we'd wear them if they said 34x34? NOT! There are NO guidelines that matches a size with a specific measurement, they all differ from company to company.

lol womens measurements are rediculous. how sad are womens minds when the size on their dress decides if they buy it or not? face the facts. jesus. if ya went by inches, there would be no confusion!

When I was in my prime....pre-kid...I wore between a size 5-7 My measurements were 36-26-36. The sizes don't mean anything....it totally depended on who made the clothes and where they came from. I found that more asian made clothes fit me smaller so I had to buy a bigger size, but other clothes I was on average a size 5/6.

Hope this helps! :) Have fun in your ladies pants!

Well... you could always walk into a store and try some on.

If you did that, you would have some guts man. So much, that we would be forced to call you KING BALLS.

I went into a store one time with the intent of buying a dress. My friend went with me. While we were there, I wanted to try one on to make sure it fit. He wouldn't let me...said he would leave me there if I tried it. So we get to the register, and the guy asks me if it will fit. I told him, I wanted to try it on, but he wouldn't let me (pointing to my friend).
