Would GT4 look better with RGB, then with Y Cb/ Pb Cr/ Pr?

What's RGB? An analog or digital connection? Technically both transmit RGB.

What does the connector look like? VGA or DVI?

RGB, from what I've read is analogous to VGA. However there is a difference b/w RGB and Y Cb/ Pb Cr/ Pr. RGB has full horizontal resolution througout each of the cables (i.e. R.ed, G.reen and B.lue), whereas Y Cb/ Pb Cr/ Pr (aka R.ed, W.hite, and B.lue) is a watered down version of RGB with Y being the only cable with full horizontal resolution. By the way, Y is basically white. The reason I am asking this is because I bought some 1st party (Sony) components and they are pretty good cables (Y Pb Pr), but I was under the impression that they were true RGB's. Will true RGB cables have better output?

Side note that I just read: Y Pb Pr = Analog and Y Cb Cr = Digital, the nomenclature these days are incorrectly interchangeable due to "Digital Components" not being openly available to the consumer market.

I see. My HD tuner has something called 'DTV Out (RGB)' and it's just a VGA connection. Confusing...

Do you have a link to the Sony cables you're talking about?

That's just regular component (YPbPr) cable as far as I know.

YCbCr is the actual digital encoding itself.

Component cables are just component cables, the signal type is either always YPbPr, or it may be possible that the output source can choose.
Since PS2 is made to output to TVs, it won't be using RGB.
Make sure to enable progressive scan in the games that support it!
