Would Circuit City match Best Buy's "Preferred Customer Weekend" 10% off coupons?

I know that some stores will honor coupons from competitors, and I was wondering if they would honor this. The preferred customer weekend is this weekend, and I have the coupons but Best Buy doesn't have what I want in stock, but CC does. I was just wondering if anyone ever had experience with CC matching a coupon instead of a price.

That's what I absolutely hate about retail stores like this. Even if it's something the company says they will do (like pricematching) there are some managers who won't do it. I've never understood why some of those retail drones have it in for us so much that they go out of their way to avoid doing a coupon/pricematch/whatever. In CompUSA a few weeks ago, I was trying to find out if they had something in stock. No one would help me, and they would barely even listen while I asked. But when I took something up to the cashier to be PM'd, all of a sudden they brought out their Delta Force. I had FIVE employees pouring over this price match I was trying to do, two were on the phone to other stores, one broke out their procedures manual. I wish they spent that much effort trying to help me buy something from them at the full price. If they did, maybe I'd shop there again.

I'm not sure if they match coupons in general but most places won't match coupons for special events.

Oh yea - I agree with you on CompUSA. What a $hitty store. I haven't stepped foot in there in months, and before that, almost a year.

I suppose its up to the manager. Technically they don't have to, because it isn't a general price available to everyone, its a preferred customer deal, most BB's don't match CC's preferred customer deals either. If a manager will do it, good, but they don't have to.
